Note from Organiser Brin:

  Dear Teams, Media and Sponsors,

A BIG. BIG, BIG thank you to ALL of you, who have made this amazing adventure such a HUGE success. It has been an absolute pleasure spending time with you all. We left as separate Teams, and returned together as one big, happy Family. Everyone without exception entered into the spirit of the event, and added a huge contribution.

There are too many great moments for me to mention - From the excitement of the Start at Crabby's in beautiful sunshine to 60 airhorns sounding in the  Condor hold - The first morning in Rouen and the anticipation of what lay ahead - sitting in the Grasshopper pub in Amsterdam - Havoc on the Nurburgring - The scenery near the San Bernardino Pass - Convoys up to Paris - Being crowned King of the Rally in Paris ! Having a roll up on the Champs Elysee..Burnouts in the Hotel underground Carpark ! The final tour of St Peter Port Seafront. All memories to last forever.

The Bubblegum Bangers Rally 2008 has raised £40,483.64 for Mines Awareness Trust in the process and every single person should be very proud of that achievement.

Lee Corbett and Kellie Blondel did an amazing job in raising the most Sponsorship and won the Flat Screen TV from Avolution. Well done to both of them and Sponsors Investec.

PHOTO/FILM FOOTAGE - A NOTE FROM OI DIGITAL

Bubblegummers.
The week we had was unbelievable, hard to take in and the memories too many to try and keep them all in mind for long.
No doubt it will spur countless new friendships, parties and be a topic of conversation in Guernsey and beyond for time eternal.

We would like to try and collect the definitive BGB 2008 picture library to celebrate and remember the times we had and create a presentation for the party night in November.
This should include; photos, video clips from mobile phones and digital cameras and any other media collected along the way which might be of interest.

Knowing that some are more literate than others on the computer we are offering a number of ways to send us your best.
Please use the method best suited to your skills.

By email.
(strictly limited to emails of less than 5mb in size)

By web upload.
(This is simple and free for files upto 100mb in size - simply collect all the relevant photos and media, put them into a folder and create a zip archive. Then follow the instructions on the website to upload. To create a zip folder simply 'right click' on the folder containing your images and choose -  send to - compressed archive, this will create a file in the same location as the folder but as a compressed file.)

By post.
If the above has left you scratching your head and wondering why the world of technology has just buzzed past like the 'Global Warmers' on their way to switzerland then you can pop all your goodies onto a disc and drop it into the post to us.
Please call Jon on 01481 716606 to request a stamped addressed envelope with a disc through the post for this purpose.
Or if you can scrape your own materials together please send them to - Jon Pettitt, Level 5, 1 Fountain Street, St Peter port, Guernsey. GY1 1DA

We look forward to receiving your media and will be posting it all here in due course.

Thanks for talking to the time to help us on this and we look forward to seeing you at the party...
Jon (Spanky)

Cheers,
